DJ Valentina Cruz

Born in Cali and raised in Madrid, I discovered Latin music through my parents' record collection and began DJing at local salsa clubs at 19.

Over a decade later I am lucky to be one of the most in-demand Latin social dance DJs on the international festival circuit. I am known for sets that move fluidly between classic salsa dura, modern timba, romantic bachata, and sensual bachata — reading the room with the instinct of someone who has spent years on the social dance floor herself.

I have held resident DJ slots at Vienna Latin Soul Festival, Bangkok Ritmo Festival, and Bogotá Candela Festival.

Also, I produce original Latin DJ edits and mashups under the alias La Caleña, released via SoundCloud.
