Candela Festival

The Bogotá Candela Festival is one of South America's largest and most prestigious Latin dance events, running since 2008 across five days each July in the Colombian capital.

What began as a salsa-focused weekend has evolved into a full celebration of latin dance culture, with dedicated floors for salsa, bachata, kizomba, and zouk running simultaneously across an eight-stage venue footprint.

With 5,500 attendees drawn from across Latin America, the US, Europe, and Asia it carries genuine international weight.

The festival is also known for its Emerging Artists Showcase, a curated slot that has launched several now-prominent international acts, making it an important discovery platform as much as a headliner event.
